INGRAM PLANETARIUM at the Village at Sunset Beach, N.C., N.C. 179., the planetarium features an 85-seat domed theater and science exhibit hall that teaches a better understanding of Earth, the solar system and the universe. MARSHWALK Murrells Inlet. Located just a few miles South of Myrtle Beach, Murrells Inlet is one of the most scenic areas in the Grand Strand. Take your camera. Take the kids. Take a walk. A moving walkway runs through a 330-foot tube in the main tank, and visitors can touch the rays and horseshoe crabs in touch tanks. Through 2007, the aquarium will feature the exhibit "Pirates - Predators of the Sea," which is an interactive voyage that includes a video in the exhibit's mini theater, teaches pirate facts, dispels pirate myths, portrays their lifestyle and features tales of famous pirates. HARD ROCK PARK - The park has scheduled May 9th as the official opening day. Hard Rock Park has opened the front gates to the theme park through April 14, to allow the public to "sneak a peek backstage." The public will be able to tour the first part of the park free. Guided VIP tours are also available and include a tour through Rock and Roll Heaven and Cool Country. VIP tours are $20 and include a Hard Rock Park hard hat. KART-TRAX FORMULA RACING, 3901 N. Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach, indoor facility featuring electric go-karts and black-light putt-putt. Hours are 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday. Children 42-54 inches ride junior karts at $6 for four minutes; children taller than 54 inches and adults ride faster karts at $11 for five minutes. Packages are available. NASCAR SPEEDPARK, U.S. 17 Bypass at 21st Avenue North, Myrtle Beach, 10 a.m.-11 p.m. through Aug. 13. Features an all day wristband for $30, which includes all tracks and attractions, except Thunder Road, the NASCAR Silicon Speedway, the rock climbing wall, mini-golf and kiddie rides. Individual tickets are available for $3 each, nine tickets for $20 or 25 tickets for $50. Children 3 and under are free. RIVER MEMORIES, City of Conway Marina, 4 Elm St., Conway, is a 75-minute history and nature tour on the Waccamaw River led by Captain Jim of Conway. Visitors can view cypress tress, Spanish moss and the Conway riverfront and learn about American Indians, steamboats, rivermen, river homes and local wildlife. Cruises depart at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. and are limited to 10 passengers. Tickets are $10 per person at the marina store and snacks and drinks are for sale on the boat.

RIVER RATS, Conway, SC. Guided, ecological, scenic fishing trip. Guests operate a two-person mini-pontoon boat along the Waccamaw or Pee Dee rivers and shoot skeet, fish and eat lunch. Equipment is provided. Half-day and overnight trips are available. Overnight trips, which are 3 to 8 miles long, a night on the River Rats' houseboat, a bonfire, two full meals, wildlife viewing, fishing, skeet shooting and a catfishing preparing and cooking lesson.
